| Project: Lutheran Church of Hope This project entailed 46,000 square feet of new office space, an educational wing, gym, and chapel. It is located in West Des Moines at the corner of Jordan Creek Parkway and Ashworth Road. This project was unique in the fact that it consisted of two separate additions to the facility on opposite sides of the existing structure. A basement for additional office and storage was built under the new chapel on the south side of the building, while an education wing and a gymnasium with a performance stage was built on the north side of the existing structure. The challenge was to double the church’s space while at the same time allowing them to continue “business as usual” throughout the construction process. We’re proud to report that our efforts were successful.
